My work started from a developing idea — what can explain relationships between humans, and what can explain the expression of a being human. The main idea is not an invention, but it’s simple and clearly represents human nature, and only human nature. Only humans can put an incredible amount of time and resources into creating civilizations and after that – destroy everything. The funny thing is, we never stop this process. We have been repeating this cycle for a more than 5000 years, so why not imagine this process still going on today?.

This idea is very similar to a statue in Berlin “Soviet soldier holding a little German girl in his hands”, so I just want to represent something like this, but not so tragic and monumental.
